Summer of Fun

We've had a terrific summer and hope you enjoyed some of our events.  We held a bat walk in July, our Wormholt Park Summer Fete on 7 September, did lots of bug hunts at the Creation Fair on 6 October and welcomed 39 new members to the Friends of Wormholt Park.Our next event will be a big planting day on Saturday 9 November, from 11-2pm.  All ages and abilities welcome!  Just dress for the weather - tools, refreshments and instruction provided.  Whether you can come for 2 minutes or 2 hours, we'd love your help in putting around 500 new plants and shrubs in the park!If you are interested in your local environment, I'd encourage you to check out the live consultation on Phoenix Academy's development proposals that would affect the valuable Phoenix Farm site: Phoenix Academy consultation and send your responses to: consultation@futureacademies.orgHere's some photos of our summer fete:
