Dog micro chipping in Wormholt Park

August 27, 2011

On Thursday 25th August the Parks Constabulary held their second micro chipping surgery in Wormholt Park. Despite torrential rain the event was a huge success and sixteen dogs were successfully micro chipped.

The micro chipping initative was held in partnership with The Dogs Trust who supply the equipment and provide intense training for the Park Constabulary.

It is important that all dogs have some form of identity on them. Micro chipping is the best way to identify dogs if they get lost or stolen. The micro chip is easy to administer and is virtually painless for the dogs.

If any dog owner missed the event at Wormholt Park and would like to get their dog micro chipped free of charge please come along to Normand Park which is off Lillie Road and next to Virgin Active in Fulham on the 15th September 2011 any time from 11:00 hours onwards when there will another micro chipping surgery.
