New Olympic sculpture in the park
August 4, 2012
We proudly announce our new Olympic Sculpture in the Park.
Shane Green kindly created this wooden art work of the runner Ed Moses, who famously trained holding a bible and won Gold at the Summer Olympics in Montreal in 1976.
The sculpture can be seen right in the centre of our park. It took the teacher Shane a long day of hard craft, which he doesn’t charge for . Thank you Shane !
Due to the official restrictions Shane Green was not allowed to distribute his leaflets promoting his sculpture as ‘Olympic’ work… We hope you like it as much as we do and it will make a long lasting highlight and centre focus point in our lovely park.
