RSPB BIRDWATCH in Wormholt Park this weekend
January 24, 2013
Sarah Woodside, our Nature & Wildlife Officer, and Vice Chair Bob Still invite you to join with them and take part in the RSPB’s annual Big Garden BIRDWATCH. Every year the RSPB asks the nation to record the birds seen in their gardens or local park and send them the results to compile a national picture of how both native British birds and winter migrants are fairing each year.
- Saturday 26 January 12.30pm – 2.00pm
- Sunday 27 January 2.30pm – 4.00pm
Sarah and/or Bob will be in the park during the above times with binoculars, bird book, RSPB record sheets and (hip)flask!
How many parakeets will there be? Anyone seen the pair of Goldcrests? Will the Greater Spotted Woodpecker appear?
Call Bob for more information if needed on 07932 762448 and for more on RSPB visit www.rspb.org.uk/birdwatch
