April 18, 2013

purpleCome along with your dog and join in the fun that will be had at our second Walkies in the Park event on Saturday 27 April.

Starting at 11am, The Dogs Trust will be there with a range of exciting agility exercises for your dog, plus FREE micro-chipping.

Topping the day will be the judged dog competition starting at 12 noon, once again expertly overseen by international judge and breeder David Spencer.

Registration is FREE on the day and there will be prizes for winners kindly donated by purplebone in the following categories:

  • Most handsome dog
  • Prettiest bitch
  • Dog most like its owner
  • Best dog trick
  • Best veteran
  • Overall ‘Best in Show’

The Friends of Wormholt Park will have its red gazebo up with refreshments available plus FREE face painting for the kids.

We will also be holding our AGM starting at 2pm. So, come and hear the review of our second year, the latest on the park redevelopment and meet the new Committee members.
