Winter Birdwatch and Walk

We had a terrific time on our #Biggardenbirdwatch in Wormholt Park on Sunday 27 January!The Greater Spotted Woodpecker, Goldfinches, Blackbirds, Robins, Carrion Crows, Blue Tits, Great Tits and Magpies as well as Woodpigeons and Starlings galore were among the 13 (possibly 14) species spotted on the birdwatch event in Park that morning.Nearly 40 kids and adults joined the Friends of Wormholt Park event and the data was sent to the RSPB for the Big Garden Birdwatch weekend.After the birds had been counted it was time to make up some birdfeeders.  Well done to everyone who took part to spot and count the birds and made wonderful bird food balls.
